After target practice, have you ever noticed ringing,
buzzing, clicking or hissing ears? Have you ever had total hearing loss from
gun shot sounds in one or both ears? This my friend, is a fairly common health
ailment that can have some extremely dangerous side effects.

The fact is, gunfire is extremely percussive. When that
sound hits your ear drum and the tiny hairs in your cochlea, it can cause
serious damage. If you are around gunfire a lot, this type of damage can really
add up. Some tinnitus sufferers report experiencing ringing in the ears for
months or even years after it initially starts.
Often these conditions will worsen at night, making it
extremely difficult for the person to sleep. Over time, the combination of
tinnitus and lack of sleep can cause a wide range of health issues, from
fatigue and lack of focus and eventually leading to total hearing loss in the
affected ear.
While it may seem like a benign thing to someone who is not
currently suffering from tinnitus, in truth, for sufferers it can be a perfect
Hell. I can speak from experience. After 5 years as a military infantryman, I
was constantly around gunfire. The constant ringing, beeping or clicking I
experienced made it impossible to focus on my work, or anything else. I was
losing sleep at night, which made me exhausted and irritable during the
day.
By my 4th year of enlistment, I had a case of tinnitus that
was causing me to lose everything I held dear. My performance on the job
suffered resulting in discharge from the Army, and my relationships were
starting to crumble. But then, I got help.
After it seemed like I had lost everything, an Army buddy
recommended Thomas Coleman’s Tinnitus Miracle to me and it changed everything.
At first I was skeptical, but after reading this book, and following its
guidance I started to notice the ringing was a little quieter. By the 7th day
on the program the ringing was almost completely gone!
Finally, I had relief! For the first time in what felt like
decades I was able to sleep the whole night through. I found a good job, and
found that I was able to focus on my work without being bothered by the
ringing. I finally felt like I had got my life back.
